Minneapolis, MN – About 90 people came together in south Minneapolis, May 3, to celebrate International Workers’ Day. The event was organized by Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO).

FRSO leader Jess Sundin told the crowd, “Capitalism is absolutely doomed. Imperialism is too. It’s as simple as this: There are more of us than there are of them. At a certain point, we’re gonna get enough people fired up with us, and we ain’t gonna take it no more! When they can’t rule us in the old ways, when we refuse to live like this, and when we have a party of our own, we can end capitalism once and for all. That is exactly what we aim to do.”

Also speaking the event were numerous trade union leaders, as well as leaders in the student, anti-war, immigrant rights and anti-police crimes movements.
