Minneapolis protest against Trump set for Nov. 23. (Fight Back! News/Staff)

On Wednesday, Nov. 23, 5 p.m., immigrants and supporters who are vowing to fight against President-elect Donald Trump and his anti-immigrant agenda will gather at the corner of Lake Street and Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis. After a short rally, the crowd will march down Lake Street. The event is being organized by the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee’s “No More Deportations” campaign.

The call for the rally includes the slogan, “United against Trump's agenda! Solidarity with Immigrants!”
Many local organizations have endorsed the event since the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee’s MIRAC called for it late last week. The latest list of endorsers is listed on the Facebook event at https://www.facebook.com/events/199733550476396/ .
