Los Angeles, CA – Over 100 people served as jurors in a People's Tribunal at the Westwood Federal Building here, Jan. 25 as a part of the national day of actions to end grand jury proceedings against anti-war and international solidarity activists.

“A dozen witnesses provided testimony today of an FBI plot to stop the people's movement for social justice in this country,” said community organizer Carlos Montes.

Chanting, “Hands off peace activists!” and, “Obama! Escucha! Estamos en la lucha!” the group was united in denouncing Grand Jury subpoenas which intimidate people from exercising their free speech rights.
