On Aug. 24, thousands of people from across the country gathered together here at the National Mall to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington.

More than 300,000 people are gathered on the mall today for the March on Washington, with at least 150,000 on each side of the reflecting pool.
