Milwaukee, WI - Protests have been ongoing in Milwaukee since the not guilty verdict for the racist killer of Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman.

About 300 people gathered here, July 15, demanding justice for Trayvon Martin in front of the Martin Luther King statue on MLK Dr.

"Our legal system favors some over others," stated Lorilei Flores of Students for a Democratic Society. "Protesting around victims of injustice and their families is how we fight back against police brutality and a flawed legal system."

The protest waved through downtown and disrupted the local Bastille Days festival, also taking many intersections along the way.

Many wanted to return next week as protests spread across the country.
