Minneapolis, MN - Around 100 people protested Israel’s war on Gaza today, November 16, at a midday march on the University of Minnesota campus initiated by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP). The protesters carried signs that said “Free Palestine”, “Hands off Gaza” and “End Aid to Israel”. They rallied in front of Coffman Union then led a spirited march that looped several times around the Northrop Mall before returning back to Coffman Union. A small group of pro-Zionist counter-protesters chanted pro-Israel slogans, waved Israeli flags and tried to provoke the crowd at various points during the march.

Excuse me?

I love how both the False Reporting and What a lie! are most likely Israeli. Pro-Israel had their chance for protest on Thursday. No Pro-Palestine came and provoked any of you. We didn't laugh or taint you. And as we tried to show respect and support Palestine on Friday, Pro-Israel had to come and provoke us. I was there. You guys laughed and tainted. There even was a kid who spat at a Pro-Palestine. This article might seem one-sided to you because IT IS THE TRUTH. Believe it or not. I'm just ashamed of how disrespected I felt yesterday.

^ seriously... u seem to have

^ seriously... u seem to have forgot to mentioned that a pro israeli spat on one of the pro palestine protestors (accurate fact btw)..seriously.... thats bottom line worse thing that can be done.. thats the kind of ppl we were dealing with today! SMH!!! im surprise you didn't get knocked out for that. that right there. our reaction to such low standard of behavior tells you we just wanted to get out voice out rather than provoke a violent protest by spitting on ppl... then again were dealing with a state full of racist and violent ppl.

False reporting!

This is definitely a very one sided way to write about what happened today at the U of M. The pro Palestinian side was provoking the other side - One of the Pro Palestinian protesters almost started a fight by trying to hit a pro Israeli protester! Besides, the pro Israeli protesters shoted slogens for peace. You guys in the media should be ashamed for not writing the truth. Well, why am I not surprised...

What a lie!

This is the most inaccurate description of today's events on campus. Both sides were provoking the cowd, the pro Israeli side came with a message of peace, and a message that Israel is also under daily rocket attacks. Shame on you media for your clearly one sided report.
