Salt Lake City, UT - The October 7 Committee held a rally here, Oct. 7, against all U.S. wars at home and abroad. Over 100 people protested, holding signs and chanting.

There were several anti-war speakers and performances by musicians in both Spanish and English. John-Ross Boyce sang acoustic versions of Masters of War and War Pigs to the enthusiastic audience. The crowd consisted of students, peace activists, families with their children and military veterans. The crowd chanted slogans including “One, two, three, four, we don’t want your racist war. Five, six, seven, eight, no more killing, no more hate.”

Army veteran Michael Bacon, who led the protest, said in reference to ongoing U.S. wars and occupations, “It is vital that we fight this!”
