Heading Toward Success
Dear readers,
Each year we call on you to help build this newspaper. This year’s fundraising drive is proving to be one of the most successful ever. The editors of Fight Back! thank each and every one of you who have sent generous contributions. And if you haven’t done so, there is still time. We need your assistance.
Right now, there is an incredible upsurge of struggle taking place to beat back the attacks on undocumented immigrants. We are covering these crucial demonstrations, and to build and promote this battle against racism and reaction, we printed thousands of additional copies of this edition of Fight Back! It is being distributed in every region of the country, from North Carolina to factories in Chicago to the streets of Los Angeles. This costs money and every dollar send will help us to meet this expense, and allow us to do more.
You might notice that this issue of Fight Back! has four extra pages. Why? Because there is a lot happening in the world you want to know about. In this issue there is cutting edge analysis of the events in Palestine and an eyewitness report from Venezuela. There is also a news-making interview with the Colombian attorney of Ricardo Palmera, the Colombian revolutionary who is being held in a jail near Washington D.C. This is something you will not find in any other paper in the U.S.
